Yes. Unity Mutual accepts transfers from other Lifetime ISA providers. You can transfer your existing Lifetime ISA to Unity Mutual without losing your Government bonus, provided the transfer process is handled correctly.
To start the transfer, complete the transfer-in form and we’ll contact your current provider to manage the switch on your behalf.
No, you won’t lose your Government bonus as long as the transfer is done correctly. You should use Unity Mutual’s official transfer process rather than withdrawing the funds yourself, which could incur a 25% Government withdrawal charge.
Yes, you can. You’re allowed to transfer a Help to Buy ISA into a Lifetime ISA. However, if your Help to Buy ISA is worth more than £4,000 (current Lifetime ISA allowance), you would need to spread the transfer over multiple tax years.
Lifetime ISA transfers should be completed within 30 days of us sending a transfer request to your current provider. However, we cannot guarantee the processing time of other organisations. Please allow up to 30 days for this process to complete.
