The Money Advice Service

The Money Advice Service was set up by the government and is funded by a levy on the financial services industry.

The service is free and independent, and is able to give everyone unbiased money advice to help them manage their money better and make more informed choices.

They offer advice and information on their website, over the phone and face to face.

Free online financial health checker tool

The Money Advice Service also provides Money Health Checks – online money planners available to everyone. By taking just ten minutes to answer some straightforward questions, the health check gives you a personal action plan showing the steps you can take to help take control of your money straightaway, and how to plan for future goals.
